ShrewsWeb listened to the postmatch interviews to get the thoughts of Gary Peters

It was a ggary petersood result be we need to be doing that all the way through till the end of the season, we're not going to get carried away with that result.

It was a performance tonight, recently we've been getting results but I don't think we've been playing that well, but tonight was a performance as well as a result.

I think that might be the best we've performed so far this season, we were so solid in the first half and we know what Rochdale have done recently, I saw them beat MK Dons 5-0 and then they beat Stockport 7-2 on Saturday so we had to defender properly first. We did that in the first half, looked solid, created chances and in the second half we took those chances.

It was good to see Leo score again and he's done to boy Stanton for pace and put in a great shot over the top. It was a great ball from Derek Asamoah to set up Dave Edwards, the ball teased the keeper out and then Dave got in with a great touch. Stewart Drummond deserved the goal as he's been great all season and it was good to see him on the scoresheet.

It's at the end of the season that you have to be in the top places, there is a long way to go so we need to keep plodding on. We've said all along that the games in hand are not points, we've played two of those games in hand now and got 4 points and we've still got two more games in hand.

At the moment I don't want to get carried away as there is a long way to go, we've got tough games over the Easter period with Swindon away, MK Dons at home and Wycombe away over seven days.
