ShrewsWeb listened to the post match interviews to get the thoughts of Gary Peters
That was so exciting that goal went in so late, it meant that everything worked but even if it had ended 0-0 I think everyone would have felt we played much better.
We were feeling things were right but you still need to score the goals to get a result and we did that even though it was late on.
We were very solid at the back, we had a good shape in the midfield but we've still got to take our chances better as we should have had the game won well before that.
Over the last few games I think we've got the passing better but the closing down had stopped, I think today we had all of the ingredients other than the goals.
Michael Symes came on but he did a few things wrong, I think it was after he let the ball go under his foot and got booked that he knew we might have words after the game but after he scored he went straight for me to celebrate.
I started with Stuart Nicholson and Michael Symes had no problem with that, he wasn't annoyed at me for leaving him out but disappointed with his performances. Stuart Nicholson came in and he did really well but he's not taking the chances, he broke through twice but didn't score but his running and work rate made us a better team today.
I've told Luke Jones that he has to use the heartache of Wembley in his favour; he's got to keep thinking back about how he felt on that day and make sure that works for him. There are few people in foot ball who experienced what he did but he's got to turn that into positives to drive him on to be a better player and today he did well.
I'll look at the game again but my views at the moment are that it was a good solid game all the way through, we passed the ball better than we had done in the previous three games but we've still got to solve the problem of how we turn chances into goals.
