ShrewsWeb listened to the post match interviews to get the thoughts of Gary Peters

The thing that is more important than the result is the way we won the game; we've had to change a few things over the last few weeks. It didn't pay off at Hereford but today the lads started getting used to it.

I felt that we had enough quality to create things today but those lads also work hard, Chris Humphrey works his socks off, Ben Davies on the other wing is creative, Asa Hall is creative but he also works hard. Up front Pughey and Mad Joe give them a few problems all day and we need to get them doing that regularly.

I hope the fans have taken to Guy Madjo as I certainly have, he's a lovely lad and he just wants to score goals. He's only 23 and has only played in the Conference but he's got a great goal scoring record there so it's up to us to teach the other part of the game.

I thought Kevin McIntyre was easily our best player today and did magnificently in the midfield and it's important that happens. He worked hard, broke things up, passed the ball and gave a really superb midfield performance and he can pass and play.

When you score in the first few minutes it really relaxes you and lets you play, that happened for Asa but it was the things he did at the other end as well that impressed me. There was a ball played into our box in the first half and he's tracked him man and cut that out, that gave us the momentum to keep going.

A clean sheet is good but the 2-0 score line doesn't show what the game was like, we were in control for most of the game, played some good stuff and had other good chances. Even in the second half when they changed their system our lads were disciplined enough to change ours to little bit to match them up.

I think it was the best performance that we've had at home so far this season, obviously the game at Lincoln was fun, and the best we've passed the ball.
