Town head of physiotherapy Rachel Greenley brings you the latest from the treatment room on Friday 7th December.

Marc Pugh's scan result came through a week after he'd had his scan which was a little frustrating, but no one's fault. What the scan mostly showed up was that he had an acute tendonitis, an inflammation of a tendon of a very deep muscle in his hip. They said it was quite inflamed and they were a bit concerned about it.

He's on a course of anti-inflammatories for that but it seems to have settled down quite quickly. I didn't know he had this tendentious, as well as a slight hip joint problem which we knew about, but with that week between the scan and the result this has allowed it to settle down quite nicely.

He'll continue with the anti-inflammatories and we hope that once that course has run that in 5 to 6 days he will be fine, so should be back in training next week.

Andy Cooke came back from his week at Lilleshall with really good test results on his muscle strength and has now gone back into training. He is doing extra work on some of the other lads rest days thought he's not doing so much in full training sessions. We are just metering out what he's doing and when he's doing it. He wasn't confident enough to be involved in the reserves this week but we are hoping that he will be involved in the next reserves game and some practice games in between now and then.

Ben Davies seems to be doing stormingly well and Dave Hibbert seems to be holding up really well and his back seems to have settled down a lot, we've had some rain and that's softened things up under foot which helps.

Apart from those we hope that the medical room stays quiet empty stays quite empty after the weekend.
