There have been some changes to the backroom staff as Paul Simpson prepares for next season.

The Town manager has let physio Joe Hinnigan go and is now starting the task of looking for a full-time replacement.

Joe was brought in by Gary Peters to cover Rachel Greenley, while she had time away from the club, and proved to be a very popular face around the club. Joe didn't have the full set of qualifications and this has seen Simpson look elsewhere for a full-time physio.

Simpson spoke to ShrewsWeb this morning to reveal the changes that were taking place: "Joe Hinnigan has left the club and I'm looking at adjusting the existing back room staff.

"John McMahon and Stuart Delaney will be staying on but I'm looking to adjust the physiotherapy department.

"We are inviting applications for the full time post of chartered physio at the club. Rachel Greenley is currently part-time and has been asked to apply for the full-time post.

"I'd like to thank Joe for all the hard work and support he's given since I came to the club.

"Unfortunately his qualifications don't meet the requirements needed so I've had to let him go."
