Town left back Marc Tierney swept the board again on a fine sunny evening at Oteley Road at the annual supporters player presentation awards. With the Sovereign suite close to capacity, fans young and old got the chance to meet their favourite players.

The awards on the evening were presented by the members of the various supporter groups such as the Official supporters club, shrewsTRUST, The Family Stand, Superblues and the Away Travel club.

Tierney won player of the season from all groups after a fine season from Town's number 23.

Town Right-Back Ben Herd picked up the runner up award from the official supporters club and he also won Young player of the year after another good season for the young defender.

The Super Blues made an award to the Town player who has shown most promise over the course of the season. Fittingly the winner of this award was Chris Humphrey, who seemed shocked but was met with warm applause by the supporters.
