It was good for the lads to get a game.We've done a lot of work in the last couple of weeks and not had too many games at all.Obviously coming back from Spain it was a tough week and we're pleased to get involved in a game - it was a good result.

We've been working hard in training and we wanted to transfer that into the games.We've scored three good goals and kept a clean sheet so I think that we have managed that.

For any striker scoring goals is key and we've seen Grant Holt's ability in training and he's done it today.Hopefully we will be able to see that continue in future matches.

West Brom will be a tough test, they've just gone up to the Premiership and are making good signings.I think the gaffer will mix it around, there are three or four games left to go (of pre-season) and the lads are desperate to play and want to impress.There is competition for places, I know it is cliché but it is good for the club.

Expectation has rightly risen, we've got a great stadium, a big manager has come in and now big players too so of course expectation is going to rise and hopefully we can live up to those.

Pre-season goes really quickly, it always does but whoever it is at the start of the season will certainly be ready.
