Q - Which formation do you feel happiest playing in?

A - 4-4-2. It's better as the other 3-5-2 formation that we've been playing is a lot of work working up and down but playing 4-4-2 you only have to follow the one player.

Q - Do you prefer playing home or away from New Meadow? Why?

A - I prefer playing at home because it's brilliant with all of our fans getting behind us. I'm getting used to the new ground but I don't like shooting towards the away fans, when I shoot towards the home fans I feel that they are on my side and are getting behind me.

Q - Is it true that all West Brom fans are in the Premier League for Bad Dress Sense?!

A - I haven't got a clue, when I saw them they were all in their Baggies tops. Though the hooligan element used to wear their Aquascutum and Stone Island and that was bad dress sense.

Q - What's the best advice that you've received.

A - When I was a young lad we had Adie Bothroyd and he used to help me a lot with my game. The advice came from him about cutting in off the wing and general advice to help me with my confidence.

Q - How beneficial did you find your spell out on loan earlier in the season?

A - It was very beneficial and I think going to Stafford Rangers really helped my confidence. I got some first team games under my belt and when I came back to Shrewsbury it had helped to get rid of some of my nerves.

Q - Who is your favourite club?

A - It is obvious really, West Brom and they always have been.

Q - Had any other clubs been in for you before Gary snatched you from WBA?

A - To be honest I don't know. I didn't know of any clubs being interested but the next day after Albion had played Shrewsbury my youth/reserve team manager said that Shrewsbury were interested in signing me after that reserve team game.

Q - Congratulations on the new contract Chris. What level do you see yourself being able to play at given time? How far do you think you'll be able to go with STFC?

A - I'd like to go as far as possible with Shrewsbury because I really love it here. Any players aim is to play in the Premiership and my aim is to play there one day.

Q - In your younger days as a schoolboy and in the youth setup at WBA, did you score a lot of goals? Do you think it will long until we see you put a few in the back of the net?

A - I didn't really score a lot of goals when I was playing for Albion as I was playing on the right-wing, though I did set-up a lot. I did score about 60 goals in one season when I played up front for the Cubs. Hopefully it won't be long before I score my first goal for Shrewsbury and then keep scoring for the club. I feel I'm getting nearer and nearer to scoring my first goal.

Q - What was your first gig, who was it and where was it?

A - I've never actually been to a gig yet so have no answer to this question.

Q - What's the best match that you've played in so far in your career?

A - As a young lad playing for Cubs I scored 10 goals in one game and that probably is the game that sticks in my mind. I was playing as a forward then when I was about 10 years. Apart from now playing for the Cubs and in Sunday league was the best times as it was really enjoyable to play football.

Q - What was it like to be poached from Albion by Gary Peters?

A - It was brilliant because I knew at the time that I wasn't going to be getting a contract from Albion and was really worried about what the future might hold for me. I was really happy when I went into training as normal and the youth team manager said that Gary Peters from Shrewsbury Town had come in for me and that they would like to sign me.

Q - Who has got the worst dress sense at Shrewsbury?

A - I have to say Marc Pugh, when we went out in Manchester for our Christmas night out he got voted as having the worst dress sense as he had some bad gear on.

Q - Who are you're footballing heroes?

A - I've got two big footballing heroes, Pele is the first one and I really love him as a player. The other is Dwight Yorke who is my favourite player of all time and I loved him when he was at Villa.

Q - What do you like to do outside of football?

A - Just chill really, go to the cinema and go out for meals, just nice things that allow me to relax.

Q - Would you prefer to be a professional footballer playing 400 league games for Shrewsbury town or earning more money and only playing 10 games for WBA?

A - I'd prefer to play the 400 games as I'm a person who just likes to be playing. I wouldn't want to be on the bench say at Albion and just picking up a lot of money for not playing. It's not about that for me it's about playing the games and being involved and not about just picking up your money.

Q - As a lifelong baggies fan, would you move to Wolves? Or choose another club as to avoid playing for them?

A - I have to be careful how I answer this question. If I was really struggling and no other club wanted me and Wolves were the last club available then I would go as I just want to play football. Other than that scenario I probably wouldn't go to the wolves because as an Albion fan I really don't like them.
