Town's reserves came away from Leicester with a draw but could easily have taken all 3-points.
It was a bright start from the visitors who were 2-0 up with just over 30-minutes on the clock thanks to goals from Hunt and Madjo.
The home side were reduced to 10-men after Sergio Hellings was shown a somewhat debatable red card for a late challenge on David Hunt
In the second half it was Leicester who rallied and looked the brighter of the two sides.
The better of the attacking play was coming from the home side and Garner was forced into a couple of decent stops.
In the end the pressure from Leicester paid off with two goals from DJ Campbell to give them a deserved point.
Town manager Paul Simpson was pleased with the performance of his side: "I've had very good reports back from last night's game and Leicester had a very strong side out playing for them. They had the likes of DJ Campbell and Matty Fry up front, Ben Alnwick in goals and four or five other players with first team experience.
"We got ourselves into a good position going 2-0 up but they really stepped it up in the second half and put us under real pressure.
"There were a lot of good performances from individuals according to the staff and that is pleasing.
"I'll have a drive down to Walsall on Wednesday night where a group of them will be playing again.
"It's given us an idea and picture of what these lads are about and the fact that they are doing things right in a reserve game really pleases me."
